We’re building better food systems.
The Eastern Food Hub Collaborative is a network of food hubs located in the Eastern United States, working together to expand opportunities for farmers and equitable access to good food for all.
How We Help
Peer Learning: We convene spaces for peer learning and mentorship through member-led working groups, virtual monthly meetings, and an annual in-person convening.
Trade and Logistics: We collaborate on delivery routes, data sharing, and cross-docking to maximize farm sales and minimize empty trucks on the road.
Member Leadership: We create processes for democratic leadership and decision-making across the network.
Reciprocal Relationships: We constantly swap stories, resources, and experiences so everyone grows and learns faster.
Collaborate Transparently: We ground all transactions in transparency so farmers and producers are represented from field to plate.
Our Impact
In 2023, our hubs collectively represented nearly $52 million in annual sales of local food sourced from more than 1,400 independently-owned farms and producers.
